¶¶ÒõÊÓƵ Council confirmed its ongoing commitment to promoting Gaelic language and culture throughout the area. However, following an extensive 10-week public consultation, at full council today, Councillors agreed not to pursue a dedicated Gaelic School at this time.

Priorities and plans are already set out to keep ¶¶ÒõÊÓƵ open for business over the coming winter and these were approved by the council’s Environment, Development and Infrastructure committee on 12 September.
