¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ Council is opening up an opportunity for local women to join in a national initiative aimed at encouraging more women to stand for election and get involved in all levels of democracy.

Help to recover from the impact of COVID and support for business growth are just some of the benefits the Council’s Business Gateway Team has delivered for ¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ businesses.
¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ Council’s Employability Team offers a range of services and support to help people back into work and access skills and training. Over the last year, 172 people started to receive support through a number of different initiatives.
¶¶ÒõÊÓÆµ Council is investing in the area’s bridge infrastructure after successfully securing £5.4 million from the Scottish Government’s highly competitive Local Bridge Maintenance Fund.
