Kintyre Schools Pipe Band also celebrated success, coming fourth in the Novice A section.
Congratulating the bands on their achievements, ¶¶ÒõÊÓƵ Provost Maurice Corry, said: “Lochgilphead Joint Campus was up against some very, very tough competitors – some of the best in the country - but their musical skill and sheer determination led them to success.
“I am incredibly proud of their achievements, as well as that of the other ¶¶ÒõÊÓƵ bands that took part in the championships, and I wish them every success going forward.
“From pipe bands and brass bands, to vocalists and individual performers, we are exceptionally lucky to have such talented musicians here in ¶¶ÒõÊÓƵ.â€
